Something is wrong in fairy tale land! All of Jill’s favourite stories are ending in tragedy, and she needs to figure out why. With the help of a hard-boiled detective and a cast of storybook characters, Jill confronts three villains (The Big Bad Wolf, Goldilocks, and Troll) — and the “infamous Jack” — on her way to discovering the truth.
Fairy Tale Ending is a topsy-turvy yet touching tale of a young girl coming to grips with loss and the reality of growing up.
Fairy Tale Ending was written by Kieren MacMillan and Jeremy Hutton. It was created for, and first produced by, the Toronto Youth Theatre.
